Rufus Ecology - Habitat Surveys

We conduct site surveys, using the appropriate methodology, to describe in detail the species present on the site, and the communities they form.

The range of surveys available range from the quick habitat assessment and description with notes on points of interest in a Phase 1 survey, through to the detailed and precise habitat descriptions of the JNCC's National Vegetation Classification (NVC).

We survey all types of habitat, including woodland, grassland, hedgerows, wetlands and riparian habitats. With ecoerience of urban conservation, we also conduct surveys of brownfield sites.

Whatever your reason for needing a survey, be it in support of a planning application, habitat creation, for claiming land management grants or any other reasons, we will provide you with the information you need to take your plans forward.
